Close up

When we post auctions, we often show a close up detail of fabric or embellishment to try and put over the essence of a lovely garment. These paintings by Jason Rohlf remind me very much of these details.

Screen Test

We have wanted a set of screens for our lovely customers to change behind at the shop for ages. In true Spybaby style, we can only possibly get hold of one by trawling our second hand sources - it's the only way we know how!

If we were to buy one, we could do worse then these by artist Clare Graham.

They have the vibe of stained glass, the inside of a mosque, even gorgeous old quilts.

But hey - it's drink cans.

Luckily we can usually make arrangements for our customers to change in privacy even without a screen and a charming number are happy to throw caution to the wind and strip off anyway. I guess it's something to do with being below ground - cosy.

(PS Clare Graham is a bloke).
